Word In Your Back Pocket

As you read this, I want you to think of the first word that comes to mind when you think of who you are when you are at your best.  


Got your word?  It could be: unconditional, kind, generous, patient, inspiring, etc...


Now, write that word on a piece of paper.  Put it in your pocket.  If you don't have a pocket, put the word somewhere that you will be forced to look at it sometime throughout the day.  Let that word in your 'back pocket' be a reminder of who you want to be - in the best and worst times throughout the day.


As you get ready for bed, empty the contents of your pocket to find the word.  Decide if you were able to live in that word that day.    Decide if you would change anything.   Decide if given the chance and redo your day - if you could live into that word more... set a goal for yourself for the next day... And then, put that word back in your pocket tomorrow.
