Isn't it easy to get caught up in life and not pay attention to those around you? Make it a special effort to notice those around you - in public, at work, school, the store - wherever you go - and notice one elderly person who could use some help.
Sometimes they won't tell you they need help, so just go ahead and help them anyways. After all, wouldn't you want someone taking good care of your grandma or grandpa if you knew they needed help and you weren't there?
I dare you to find an elderly person to help today. And, while you are at it - maybe ask them a thing or two about them. Our older generation has so many stories to share - and sometimes, you never know when someone's story might change the course of your day in a positive way.
